
On July 23, 2025, the public defense of the PhD thesis by Daria Myasnikova, a postgraduate student at the SSI "Institute for Single Crystals" of the NAS of Ukraine, took place. The dissertation "Investigation of Supramolecular Host–Guest Complexes Based on Cyclodextrins and Cucurbit[n]urils", was submitted for the degree of PhD in Specialty 102 – Chemistry, field of knowledge 10 – Natural Sciences.

On Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., the next meeting of the Academic Council of the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry will be held in a hybrid format to conduct a preliminary examination of the dissertation submitted by by Rostyslav Svoiakov, titled "Synthesis and Investigation of Squaraine Dyes and Supramolecular Systems Based on Them".

From June 2 to 4, 2025, the participants of the SupraKha project took part in the 20th Scientific Conference "Lviv Chemical Readings – 2025", which was held in Lviv, Ukraine.

On May 20, 2025, at 14:00, a meeting of the Academic Council of the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry will be held in a hybrid format to conduct a preliminary examination of the dissertation submitted by Daria Yuriyivna Myasnikova, titled "Investigation of Supramolecular Host–Guest Complexes Based on Cyclodextrins and Cucurbit[n]urils", for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

On March 3, 2025, the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and the SSI "Institute for Single Crystals" of the NAS of Ukraine signed an agreement to continue the implementation of the scientific project "Development of New Materials Based on Supramolecular Systems for Biomedical and Veterinary Applications."

On February 27, 2025, a working meeting took place in Brussels (Belgium) between Valentyn Chebanov, Olesia Kulyk, and Professor Stefan Wuttke, a member of the advisory board of the SupraKha project.

Summary of the Scientific Seminar "Chemistry Beyond the Molecule". The scientific seminar "Chemistry Beyond the Molecule" was successfully held on December 3, 2024, as part of the Kharkiv Chemical Seminar. The event was organized in a hybrid format, allowing a broad audience of researchers and students to participate. A total of 81 participants joined the seminar, both online and in person.

On December 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM (Kyiv time), all interested participants are invited to join the scientific seminar "Chemistry Beyond the Molecule," which will take place as part of a special session of the Kharkiv Chemical Seminar.

Within the framework of the NRFU project "Development of New Materials Based on Supramolecular Systems for Biomedical and Veterinary Applications", the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry at the SSI "Institute for Single Crystals" of the NAS of Ukraine successfully completed the procurement and installation of a lyophilizer (freeze dryer), Alpha 3-4 LSCbasic, in November 2024.
